Friday November 23th – Conference Day 1

  • Key note by Marco António Carvalho, University of Groningen, the Netherlands:Assessment and Beyond: creating a meaningful clinical rotation.
  • 6 presentation themes on assessment, a broad choice on assessment related items: Workplace-Based-Assessment, Professionalism, Psychometrics, Performance-based asessment, Assessment across borders, Readiness to practice .
  • 5 workshops, topics will include: Use of mobile technology in class, Assessment using Simulation Patients, Programmatic Assessment, Assessment of Capability, Meet the Expert.  Soon we will present the more info about these workshop.
  • Symposium & Debate: ‘Assessment at the workplace: an econometric perspective
  • Conference Dinner at Tibães Monastery in Braga (optional, only to be booked in advance)
