Aims SIG-PA

In recent years programmatic assessment (PA) has increasingly been implemented in Health Professions institutions all around the world. By building a community we aim to promote international collaboration between educators, researchers, policy-makers and others involved in programmatic assessment. The main objectives for the special interest group programmatic assessment (SIG-PA) are to explore issues around implementation, drawing on a range of contexts and institutional cultures. Specifically, we aim to:

Learn from each other, by sharing:

1. Best practices and practical examples
2. Research

Provide support with implementation/accreditation:

1. How to translate theory into practice within own context

Enhance international collaboration, between:

1. Researchers
2. Policy-makers
3. Others

Facilitate joint problem-solving and discussion between stakeholders
